Outlander Why the Show is Ending While Author Has More to Say

Outlander Season 8

Outlander’s television series is set to end in 2025 despite the Author of the series Diana Gabaldon wishes to continue the book series until it’s 9th version : Go Tell the Bees That I am Gone. Outlander books and television series has a long fandom across the world. By far they are the best fans ever a television and book series could produce. They talk much about the history, warfare, dress patterns and even they know Scottish cookbooks. They don’t want the series to end but somehow the production is set to end at the end of 2025.

Fans those who are not having enough clues to come to a conclusion say the cast is eyeing for move on and pursue other projects. Rich Rankin who is playing his part as Roger McKenzie, joined the cast of Rebus a Tv series set to aired from May 2024. Lauren Lyle the Marsali meanwhile is working successfully on her leading role in the TV series Karen Pirie from 2022. Sam Heughan is very busy with his Sassenach Spirit promotions and his outdoor activities. Caitriona Balfe being a mom needs to carry out her motherly duties.

Working for a television series for more than a decades’ time is a very challenging for anyone. For the actors they need to be under the limits of legal terms and conditions. It is such a commitment for most of the actors. Fans know that and add their comments saying “they’ve given us such a magic show that well love forever”

One of the untold stories was ratings have gone so low for the last few seasons. Season 1 was the prime one with so much happening. “First season, for me the best, I really enjoyed watching it” one fan penned in comments section on YouTube in relation to Outlander’s Season 1 video. The other reason for the drop in viewership is the change in platforms. Fans were watching the series on Prime, not having to pay extra bucks. When it went the UK version of Starz, fans did not want to pay with extra bucks to see it.

The series is set to play the second half of Season 7 in this 22nd of November. One fan who is very much wanting to see the series commented “if it doesn’t return soon I’m going to forget what’s going on and lose interest”

Outlander is amazing storytelling. Outlander cast and crew is amazing for interpreting so splendidly this impressive and incredible story.

  1. Question the writing & research here.
Not in disagreement of premise: The series is ending because actors are moving on and diminishing viewership (which has much more to do with delays & inconsistent quality than subscription costs).
    So…
Rik Rankin didn’t “join” the cast of REBUS! He is the star …portraying title character. “Lauren Lyle the (?!) Marsali meanwhile is working successfully on her leading role in the TV series Karen Pirie from 2022”. Maybe mention Karen Pirie just finished SECOND Season though Lauren made time to come back to Outlander for final season!! “Sam Heughan is very busy with his Sassenach Spirit promotions and his outdoor activities.”
BUT the most egregious sentence of this tripe➡️”Caitriona Balfe being a mom needs to carry out her motherly duties”. First, she’s been a Mom and still continued with series as an actress, executive producer, and director. She is in TWO upcoming films: The Cut (which is premiering at TIFF) & The Amateur set to be released early next year.
The sexism of this rag is apparent in your dwelling on male lead (associated article list) & your blatant disregard for lead actress. Who are you??
Final point: grammatically this article was all over the place. At least, take the time to proof before taking up space.

  2. This article is disgusting! “Motherly duties”, my eye! Caitríona Balfe is a proud and loving mother, yes, but also the amazing lead actress in Outlander and in films, both past and future. (The Cut and The Amateur are her upcoming films.) She has directed in Outlander, and is one of their executive producers. She is highly respected among the cast and loved by fans.
Has the author of this article just crawled out from under a rock from the 1700’s? Misogyny, much?
